Community Partners working together to clean up downtown as part of the Great American Clean-U

Several community organizationsincluding Cherry Street Streetscapes Commission, City Watch, Crime Stoppers, Faade Squad, Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful, and the Macon Neighborhood Revitalization Partnership have joined forces in an effort to beautify Downtown Macon as part of the Great American Clean Up. This Clean Up day will include activities such as removal of trash and litter, grass and weeds, large debris. The day also kicks off NewTowns program to remove graffiti from buildings in the central business district by the end of May which coincides with the Great American Clean Up which is from the beginning of March until the end of May.
