AC Pup to Meet Jake the Diamond Dog

AC Pup, the canine celebrity mascot for the Macon Animal Control, along with several of his canine friends, is headed to his very first baseball game at Luther Williams Field for the Pinetopper’s Bark in the Park on July 22nd. AC just reached 4,000 friends on Facebook, and is hoping to ask Jake the Diamond Dog, the mascot for the Pinetoppers, to “friend” him as well as teach him some new tricks!

AC is also thinking of ways to benefit his Pound Pals, and the Pinetoppers have generously offered to donate half of the proceeds of any tickets sold through AC to Central Georgia CARES, the non-profit organization that works to benefit AC’s homeless animal friends.

AC said of the event, “Bring your whole family including your canine pals to the park to meet Jake too! Let’s be sure to congratulate the Pinetoppers on a great season with a ton of tail wagging!”
